TCM Apprentice
Mahayana & Compassion Buddhism Temple
June 23 – August 24
I completed an intensive apprenticeship under a renowned master of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This experience deepened my understanding of various herbal methodologies and applications. During my apprenticeship, I traveled across China to provide free comprehensive patient assessments, personalized herbal and moxibustion treatments, lifestyle and dietary modifications.
My patient care encompassed pain management, endocrine and digestive disorders, heart and respiratory diseases, mental illnesses such as depression and insomnia, skin diseases like eczema, vitiligo, and shingles, and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, I practiced meridian massage to alleviate sciatic pain, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and other degenerative bone diseases that arose as a result of COVID vaccines. I also practiced meditation to gain deeper insights into the applications of Traditional Chinese Medicine, complementing its classic academic principles.
